HARIANBE - A landslide disaster occurred again on the highway from Lebong Regency to Rejang Lebong Regency, at around 03.00 WIB, Sunday 21 January 2024.

The location of the road that was buried by the landslide was precisely in Talang Ratu Village, Rimbo Pengadang District.

The landslide material reached a height of approximately 6 meters with a length of approximately 20 meters. As a result, from dawn until this news was published, vehicles still had not passed.

Due to the landslide, a joint team from the Lebong Regency Government, TNI and Polri as well as the community, assisted by 1 unit of heavy equipment, is still cleaning up the landslide material so that people can pass through.

Lebong Police Chief AKBP Awilzan SIK through Rimbo Pengadang Police Chief Iptu Amir Lukman Hakim SSos said that currently the cleaning of the material is being carried out.

The first step is to uproot trees that are already leaning towards the road because it is feared that they will fall and endanger road users.

material longsor mencapai ketinggian lebih kurang 6 meter dengan panjang lebih kurang 20 meter. akibatnya, sejak subuh hingga berita ini diturunkan, kendaraan masih belum melintas.
adanya tanah longsor tersebut, tim gabungan dari pemkab lebong, tni dan polri serta masyarakat, dibantu 1 unit alat berat, masih melakukan  pembersihan material longsor agar masyarakat bisa melintas.

dan memang pengerjaannya mengalami keterlambatan karena terkendala dengan alat. baru 1 alat berat yang ada dan masih menunggu 1 alat berat lagi.
"sehingga pembersihan bisa dilakukan di 2 sisi dari lebong dan dari curup," ujarnya.
untuk itulah ucap dandim, pihaknya belum bisa memastikan estimasi selesai pengerjaan.
akan tetapi petugas gabungan akan bekerja dengan semaksimal mungkin agar material longsor bisa dibersihkan dan masyarakat pengguna jalan bisa kembali melintas.
